Pinch of salt in 2021

Sent second email to my orthodontic asking about the charge of £160.

Got an email saying it was consultation price with breakdown of 2section(£75 & £85) with today's!! date and my details underneath. Also a note that it might be necessary to amend my treatment plan and the price and place for my signature.

What a joke. I haven't even gotten any treatment plan yet as I had to do first my all x-rays and MRI scan. Plus I haven't gotten any price yet.

The biggest hit of the message is: 1st consultation is 130paid before , so it looks like it doesn't include anything just the step into the clinic as they still charge for checking your teeth up.

What a joke.

I have to deal with it but have lost all my energy.

Maybe because I'm Polish they think is fine to deceive customers in XXI century while being in lockdown?

No it's absolutely disgusting.

In terms of my treatment I have my customers rights in the UK.

The treatment must be carried out with reasonable care and skill. I cannot be misled so they shouldn't tell me something false which induces me to pay more.

I already spent £50for the XRay and £550 for MRI scan so it doesn't look optimistic at all.

My head is spinning....
